Take Care Using an Article Spinner
Let's face it, writing a lot of articles to submit to several article directory sites is HARD WORK. So, why not make it simpler?
There are lots of automated scripts and services offering what is called "Article Spinning". What such a script or service does is take the original content and run it through a re-writing engine that shuffles, replaces words and paragraphs. The result should be a new article based on the original but different enough to make it "unique". Of course, unique content is what readers and Google are looking for. However, spinner scripts there are almost always problems with grammar, or words that are correctly spelt but out of context. Often a spun article seems at first glace fine, until you read closely and find that ideas are disconnected and unrelated. Really badly spun articles have very poorly constructed sentences that simply don't make sense.
There is a problem with computer writing technology though, computers have not yet reached the quality of writing that is readable, friendly and interesting to the reader without the new content sounding like its been writen by someone stoked to the eyeballs on coffee or drugs and is not a native English speaker. Otherwise, there would be no more bloggers or journalists, and we would read our spun content over coffee each day.
Don't get me wrong, I use folks in India and SE Asia to outsource all sorts of things such as writing scripts and so on. But - I am VERY careful in writing my own content OR - using highly trusted and checked freelance writers (some at very reasonable rates).
There are two main ways you can use an Article Spinner :
- Have your own Script and spin your own content
- Send your content to an article submitter that provides a "spinner service"
So, whats the big deal?
Well, if you do your own, please save everyones time and read your spun content, correct or massage the text to make sure its not "on caffein".
Otherwise, if you use a service, make sure they guarentee that each article is of a high standard and is readable. Chech the articles you submit to them and make sure that they live up to their promise.
Why should you do this?
One good reason is that like ArticleNOOK, many other article directories will simply decline a badly spun article and ask you to correct the spelling and grammar. Some directories are less kind and will place the author in "bad standing", freeze all submissions or even delete articles.
All that is a huge waste of your time and our resources. The worst case is you will be banned and articles removed.
Do yourself a favour
If you are going to spin, get yourself a quality spinner and check the content before submitting, at least to ArticleNOOK.
Before you go down the spinning road, make sure you understand the downsides of "cheating" the readers and directories to gain a temporary exposure and backlinks.
Act like a Pro and Go Expert
You will be far better served by writing quality content, keeping it keyword targeted, place them on good directories and getting webmasters to pick up your re-print and so give you backlinks. Slow? - not really, we use this same technique and do it the real way with sometimes startling results in justs a few days with traffic peaks and continued clicks and pickups.
There is nothing like having an authority reputation on a subject, don't damage it with C**P content.
